Some Vikings can only be killed by tracing your path through nasty green venom, guaranteed to create a stinker of a weapon! Joystiq is reporting that Age of Booty, originally released for XboxLive and PC, will be released soon for iOS and Android devices. This game was a bit of a disappointment a couple of years ago, but it did have some serious potential. It was actually quite fun to play, but it started to get repetitive after you had played it for a while, there was simply not enough variety of things to do and the maps were very repetitive as well. This reincarnation is supposed to feature some improvements over the original game. The new version will include a single-player campaign and real-time multiplayer and cross-platform support. The developer, Certain Affinity, have partnered with Chaotic Moon and have listened to the criticisms of the game by players over the past couple of years and is trying to incorporate those changes into this new version. Personally, I am not much for social networks, but I know some of you out there are so I thought I would mention this. Google+ has launched a new social game called Pirates: Tides of Fortune! I don't know a whole lot about it, but is apparently a type city building game that lets you build your own pirate empire! That sounds promising at least! The game was developed by Plarium, a social game development company that debuted in 2009.

Gamestar.de has a new video preview of Port Royal 3! This time, we get to see some actual in game footage, and from what they show us in the video I am very impressed! The audio is in German, but who cares, the game looks fantastic and the 3D battles are a lot more detailed! Looks are nice of course, but the gameplay is what I am interested in, and this video does show a good bit of it. Enough of my yammering already, watch the video!!
