Pirate Film Music

There's some unreleased music from PotC 4 here: http://www.magicboxmusic.com/virtualresume/details.php?id=P4&popup=y

Is there a complete track listing for the POTC 2003 video game? I have seen videos posted on YouTube - and have even downloaded the 28 track playlist. There are no titles except for "Game Music 1," and so on. Could it be listed under the title Sea Dogs 2? Have not had much luck finding any info on Google.

You can extract the music from the game itself.
I've got a play list of my own for it, but there never was any sort of official release.

It would be interesting if anyone could create a folder (on FTP pirate ahoy??) gathering the most important music tracks of POTC. The tracks should be in audio CD format so that people can easily burn a CD.

I can upload what I have tonight. Made it almost as an official soundtrack release.

Good :yes. But please, don't zip the folder so that we can add later more tracks (like one or two I want to use in the Maya quest)

Only the original music you want?:unsure I was thinking we could add the tracks used in the quests like the Hispaniola theme for the Bartolomeu storyline...

Thanks Pieter :doff I'll burn a CD from these tracks. Maybe, you should put this link somewhere else in the forum so that people can find it easily.

Hello all,

I received the game. A great deal. The discs are in "like new condition," and I only paid $7.25 for the game with free shipping (there is a Santa Claus). There is no booklet though, but I'm just grateful to have this game once again. I installed it, and it is working fine. I have not installed the New Horizons Mod yet. Any suggestions on the proper resolution to run the Mod? I noticed that The Age of Pirates games are also made by Akella. Do they need to be installed "outside" of the program files too?

Great news! Congratulations, mate. :woot

Whatever you prefer. Note that the stock game Config.exe isn't very flexible.
If you edit engine.ini directly with Notepad, you can do a lot more. I always run the game in my desktop resolution (1600x900) with enable_fullscreen set to 0.
That way, I can Alt+Tab freely in and out of the game and still continue play. Extremely useful. :cheeky

That does come very much recommended. :yes

The problem with Program Files is that when you try to install a mod in there, Windows Security Stupidity tends to prevent it from installing properly.
Works fine in say, C:\Games\[game name] though.

Thank you Pieter all the information. I thought about picking up Age of Pirates City of Abandoned Ships sometime next year. From what I've seen on YouTube - the game looks very similar to POTC 2003, but with different graphics. Thanks again for all of your help and information Mates!

All those games are based on the Storm engine.
You could call them sequels to PotC.

I made them up myself. The game filenames were too boring for my liking.
They're mod-ified too, if you'll notice from the real world Island and town names.
Unmodded game didn't have that either.
