Graphics? (AOP2)

Son of the Desert

Landlubber
I first played this game a long time ago. I played POTC before that and playing AOP 2 was a massive upgrade in terms of graphics and gameplay. I bought AOP 2 today on GOG to replay it and I found the graphics lacking even though I don't really mind it and it is more about the gameplay.I have been recently using reshade on some old games to make them look better but it doesn't work for this game and neither does sweetfx. Are there any mods that makes this game look better(I seen this mod on moddb but it doesn't work)
Thanks!

I think this works with CoAS too:
ENB Improved Graphics addon - Pirates of the Caribbean: New Horizons mod for Pirates of the Caribbean
Whether you consider that an improvement is largely personal preference, so you're mileage may vary.

And I want to know what the difference is between Gentlemen of Fortune and New Horizons
A better question would be to ask in what ways they are SIMILAR!
They're two different mods for two different games.
GoF is relatively limited in how much it changes the original game.
On the other hand, New Horizons is pretty massive; to the point that it adds several games' worth of gameplay.
There is virtually no shared new content between the two of them, excepting a few ship models.

Also, would you recommend download combined mod or GoF? and which version is the latest?
Combined Mod is a relatively small pack.
GoF contains all is content plus more, but some versions of GoF are more playable than others.
I haven't a clue which version is the latest or the best; I've always been confused on that myself.
Hopefully somebody else can help you with that question.

I played several mods for COAS and liked GOF2 the best. It has the best reliability and the most content. There are mods for it too, but they are up to personal preference.

COAS is a DX8 engine in a DX9 wrapper made just for it. Nothing will make it look better.
