WIP Flying Dutchman Project: Cursed & Uncursed

Figuring out the railing was kinda tough. But I got it sorted out. Time for a break till tomorrow. :bonaparte

So I think we'll need someone that knows something about modeling to take out the skeleton's ribs for the uncursed version. They share the same texture as the bow, so I can't alpha map that out. May or may not need the same done for those 4 bits of spine right above the ribs. Haven't figured out where the texture for that comes from yet.

@Armada, do you see any option of doing some slight model work there?
Or @Jack Rackham, do you think there is an easy way too sort that it with the TOOL?

If not, then just keep the teeth for the uncursed version as well.
Not ideal, but so be it.

This part is the same nightmare that I remember. Lots of half and half textures mixed together. Becoming very tricky to get everything lined up. Not even close to done.

@Legendary_Spider, that's some very impressive texture work!

If you still have Maya 5, I think this would be a fairly straightforward task you could do yourself.
That said, I suggest you focus on finishing the hull texture before considering any model adjustments.

Finally done with the domes or whatever they're called. I would wish I could convey to you what a nightmare these things were. Lots of half anf half textures mixed together which required twisting and reshaping things into bizarre angles just to get it right on the model. :modding

Still not done with those side parts. They require further decoration.

Indeed it sounds like a royal pain!
But in the end, all that remains is the end result.
Which is awesome!

Much progress has been made. The detailing on this part is finally done. Plus I added an ornamentation on the bow that is present in the film.

I think I'm officially past where I left off last time. :keith
