Cool, @Captain Murphy! :woot

One mod I remember to PotC was that someone added more rotation to the sinking animation.
Makes it all look a bit cooler when ships capsize during sinking.
Is that something you did/could include too?

Currently it picks a random vector to make the ship's center of mass move toward, so it will look different almost every time. We can make it more or less interactive later by feeding it things like damage directions or cargo shifting.

Jk, it looks great!
Will you still be able to see the mast sticking out in shallow waters?

It just adds some mass to the vessel, so if it happens to run into the ground and still be sticking up, then yes. We aren't despawning the ships yet either, so in theory they can become hazards to navigation underwater too.

Now that could be interesting. Combined with running aground, which is already possible, this could make sea battles near islands much more hazardous for larger ships. That gives small ships an advantage we've never really been able to simulate in PotC.

We've seen it a lot with Tides of War where a few sunk ships can cause a bottleneck in the battle and really change the flow of the game. It can make it much more interesting.
