[WIP] Point of Sail upgrade at Bermuda

Sure, make it public. I'd love for someone to make dark black sails with white skull and cross bones on the mainsail, and red sails with black skull and bones on the mainsail. Better yet would be a toggle for the skull and cross bones. I have seen in on NPC ships, but all were black on white...

    About Capturing Cities

Is Port Royal the English Capitol? If so, I took it as a Pirate. If not....well then....how are ya? :gday

Mod Release Gentelmen of Fortune! v1.2 Full Release Patch 1.0 FAQ/Bugs/Installing

Did you edit any of the commands from F1-F30? If you changed or added something to one of them, like F26 for example, make sure in that command you have F26 listed as the key for that command. You should see three F26's in that line. Example of mine that I edited.... string descF26 = "Full Crew...

Mod Release Gentelmen of Fortune! v1.2 Full Release Patch 1.0 FAQ/Bugs/Installing

Did you uninstall COAS, reinstall, and add GOF 1.0 and Pacth 1.1? If you had other MODs installed and tried to apply GOF on top of it then that could be your problem. (Thanks for the info on fast travel, Luke !)

Mod Release Gentelmen of Fortune! v1.2 Full Release Patch 1.0 FAQ/Bugs/Installing

Well I'm Pirate Nation, and have a trading license with the English, but I cannot fast travel. The guards are fine with me there.

Mod Release Gentelmen of Fortune! v1.2 Full Release Patch 1.0 FAQ/Bugs/Installing

Is fast Travel for Pirate Nation supposed to only work in Pirate towns? If I got to any English, Dutch, or Spanish town as a Pirate, I cannot fast travel to the Tavern/Store/Shipyard etc, in their towns. However, if I play as another nation like English, I can fast travel in everyone's towns...

    Trading License Overhaul

Thanks for all that. I was doing the slave trade and making good money with it. From attacking ships, and enslaving the crew when they surrendered, but that is broken. So I have been mainly attacking Spanish Merchant fleets with mine and taking their cargo and ships. Yes, I'm piratey. :onya2

    Bounty Hunter

    Sounds good to me.

    Diplomats in Captured towns

Yeah, I took about 6 towns, and based out of Port Royal, PR being the first town I turned Pirate. I went to Port Royal all the time, the other places I only went back to break sieges from the original Nation of the town. But stayed in all the taverns, and each time looked for a Diplomat and...

Mod Release Gentelmen of Fortune! v1.2 Full Release Patch 1.0 FAQ/Bugs/Installing

You have to sail around Cumana in a class 7 ship in sailing mode, not the world map mode. And be ready for a fight, because he is in a class 5 ship.

Mod Release Gentelmen of Fortune! v1.2 Full Release Patch 1.0 FAQ/Bugs/Installing

I have to praise the Mod team of GOF again. I know this is a bug thread and all that, but I have to give some praise here. COAS was as stable as a 90 year old woman going up hill on roller blades. Crash, Crash, Crash. CM 3.2 Reduced the crashing rate in my game by at least 70%. And so far, in...

    A Player House.

Yeah, but having your officers stay there too would be great. I don't want to give spoilers, but you know a few quests where you lose your officers. And if you have 6, you have to go to two different downs, buy 6 ships, and 'saving' the officers at a port control. That is a pain in the butt. I...

    A Player House.

Have each town have a house a player could buy and store loot. That way on quests that lose you your ship, you won't lose all your loot. Store important stuff at the house, because houses don't sink. Well, they are less likely to, anyway. Maybe add a script for officers to 'guard' the house too...

    Bounty Hunter

Corsair, Secret Agent, Adventurer, Merchant, Carpenter, Inquisitor, and Bounty Hunter. Yeah, Bounty Hunter would require a quest generator. But you could pick someone to give out bounties for each Nation. And of course the more a bounty was worth, the higher level the target and his/her ship...
