Opening Up the Port Royale 3 .fuk files for modding

Guys, just found out on the main PR forum that the Dragon Unpacker (also in my Dropbox HERE) can unpack the .fuk files which then opens it all up to modding.

Can someone please clarify this (at work now)

The unpacker doesn't seem to support PR3 yet......besides that the game locks up every five minutes (it doesn't like dual core CPU'S, even setting affinty in task manager doesn't stop the lock ups ), so I'd waite a bit before buying the game till they sort out it's problems.
I wish these companies would stop releasing unfinished games for the paying public to beta test.

I have been having computer problems lately, I had to reformat and haven't reinstalled PR3 yet, SSD's can be a real pain!! I have a vacation coming up in a couple of weeks, I probably won't get a chance to take a look at it before then.

damski, yeah I know what you mean mate, I love paying $30-$70 to be a beta tester! I wish I couldn't remember when games actually were finished when you bought them!

The unpacker can get to the graphics files, I have got that so far.

You need to use the hyper ripper, select all formats and then search not the normal opening tool.

The problem is that you can only see image files, not file structure of the .ini's

I also didn't see and of the 2D menu images either, but I didn't look though every file also.

I've had a look at other proper supported games which I have and it does work for them....ini files are opened and the ani files too.
We'll just have to wait to get into PR3.
