Pirate related point and click adventure games?

I've been wondering if there was ever any pirates games in the vain of Quest for Glory and Kings Quest which are point and click adventure games, has there ever been any?

Ahoy mate, indeed there have been! The most recent of which that I am aware of is a little game by Indie Australian developer Brwasome called Jolly Rover! You can find out more about that one HERE!


There was also a remake a couple of years ago of the classic Monkey Island series of games, I do believe those are still available as well. It's not quite as good as the original, but you can find out more about that one HERE!

Well they are quite interesting, I was expecting older kinds of games but it's no big deal really, thanks.

The original Secret of Monkey Island was a 1990's game with several sequels, I just figured you were looking for more recent games. I believe that you can still find it for download out there somewhere. It is of course a DOS game, and will require either an older computer capable of running DOS, or DOSBox.

Monkey Island 1 and 2 got remakes with the option to switch between original pixel-art and modern graphics.

Yup, been playing that last Saturday.
