NOTE: I know that this thread is 2 years old but I am still going to do it anyway.

That actually happened to me 1 week ago. Fortunately, I hit the ESC button first and found something to fix this problem.

For your old profile, just go and hit the ESC button, go to OPTIONS then click on the button shown on the screen that allows you to reset all your controls.

Then, press OK and you should be able to resume your normal gameplay with F11 Window.

That will change your controls and you cannot control your character properly, and there is only one way out of this, just go back to F11 Mode by editing _mod_on_off.h
