you like to have an italian translation?

Well, mateys, in Italy there's a saying "Tradurre, non tradire" that may be translated in "Translate, not Betray". Have had my own days of highly delusion after have seen the scandalous italian translation of "Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion", a thing that given to me tears and nightmares a lot, I...

Where I can find a page, somewhere in internet, with all PotC-NH ships image and description? I seeked around, without results, when I wanted see for the Naval Ketch, a real strange ship, that is very beautiful (I like a lot the way in wich is made), but have no sense: too low on cargo, and...

    Castaway: what a nice challenge!

Before November 7, 1717, all people in the Caribbean thought that Cristopher Columbus was the only italian that also if has taken the wrong way have discovered something new and unexpected. In this day, another Italian, Ambrosius Pellicano, a man without any real land or sea experience embarked...

What I hope in the next PotC-NH version.

2 things, over all: the first, homes. Cities have a lot of nice houses, ready for become the player/character home. Will be nice that the player can have one of them in a city of the power that serve, with his/her own chest for store objects, books, and so on. the second, adjoin some real but...

    Tips: Learn from experience

More I play, more I learn. Experience, and time spent on POTC-NH gave me a lot of good experience. Here's my own tips for all PotC-NH players. --- 1-Save often: yes, this is also written in the game tips, and is true. How many times I needed to restart all because I haven't saved in time...

Feature Request Remove damaged decks from ships as own deck

In this nearly perfect work there is only a little thing that displease me: when I get a barque (all sorts of Barque), the bridge appear ruined and ladders crashed. Instead, every other class of ships appear more or less new and unused.

AAR: Thoughts of a Dutch maiden

(Extracts from the private journal of Marie van Pelikan, Dutch merchant and trader, year 1618) April 1618: "In my captain cabin I have all the time to share my own thoughts with myself, in these pages, between a voyage and another. People see me in different ways: many people think at me like...

    My best characters.

After some trials, I have put some really nice characters, each with a different personality and objectives. I consider the best of a larger group: as the evlutionist said, the smarter, stronger and able win against others. Ambrois LeGaillard, French Adventurer, 1717 a perfect time for...

My strange asks are really a must-have!

...and now, after this boasting affermation of myself, the ask of the day: I know that usually every character belong to a nation: England, Holland, Portugal, France, and Spain. But what's happens when one choose to fly his personal flag, instead a national one? Really, never tried before...

What doing about female adjustments to the usual talking?

I was very pleased to see a better female talking in the usual chat with NPC's. I'm a bit astonished when a tavern owner call my Nederlander merchant lady "a true gentleman"...ehm...

Finally I have found my role.

After many trials, finally I have found my Name, and my Role in the pirates world. Ambrosius Pellicano, Explorer, Portuguese (really an Italian navigator that work for the Kingdom of Portugal) started his adventure in October, 24, 1617. Was a bit difficult, I must admit: I was asking myself...

(PotC-NH) On Game real ship S&T (strategy & tactics)

Hello mateys, since my youth, in wich I started my adventure at sea with an old wargame (maybe Avalon Hill? I don't remember well, was in the 80's) I have had a real pleasure to learn about real ship tactics, and now, with PotC-NH, finally I have the chance to employ all infos I have gained in...

    (PotC-NH)Games that become legends.

This is a PotC-NH matter, but have also validity for some other games- very few, but there are. As Morrowind did, PotC was at first a simple pirate game, the following of Akella's Sea Dogs. I remember how was the vanilla game: good, much bettered than Sea Dogs, but not really special. Then...

    "Naval" ships/Hopital port

    1) I have found a series of "Naval" ships, more or less similar to the usual ships, but somewhat different. E.g. the Naval sloop has only 14 guns instead 16. Maybe is a military version of the regular ship models? 2) I have problems to find the correct place where stop my ship at Hopital...

    Whats your preference?

Another poll, this time on the centuries. What is your favoured century for live your life on sea and adventures? I concede 2 choices because may be people that favor more than a century, like me, that I like XVII and XVIII.
