Announcing Buccaneers!, a new Pirate Game from Skyward Digital

Is steam workshop/mod support planned? I can see texture packs/overhauls/new locations being really popular to make. Can you comment more on the engine/graphics api being used? Really looking forward to this!

Need Help Player data archive not found - Linux

That's fine. I understand Debian's stance. The issue here is that the development of AMD's open source drivers is VERY rapid, and a lot of progress has been made since 13. There's a reason why ports from the likes of Feral Interactive or Aspyr haven't supported MESA at launch, until now at...

Need Help Player data archive not found - Linux

Okay wow, that's an old kernel + mesa version. Mesa has come quite a way since 13. I have a hunch that this is your issue, or at least part of the story. Is there any way you could install a distribution with a more recent kernel+mesa on a scratch disk to test? Fedora 27 would provide 17.3.X.

Need Help Player data archive not found - Linux

You might be hit with some unity issues. Could you try to start the game with: ./New\ Horizons\ Remastered.x86 -screen-fullscreen 0 . What Kernel/Mesa do you have?

Need Help Player data archive not found - Linux

Hello, I do get the same error (Player data archive) but the game launches for me (64 bit system). I have however had issues with the game launching when using Fedora paired with mesa-git due to having missing/incomplete 32bit display drivers/libs. Unity seems to love Ubuntu and glibc...

    Need Help Performance Testing

Hello, can I please request the 64Bit Linux build? I'm having some issues with Mesa (open source AMD drivers) and the 32bit build. I'll post my issues in depth later, but I just wanted to hopefully get the ball rolling on a 64bit build. Thank you for your time.

Request to Join Development - Linux Primarily

Hello, Feel free to move/delete this if inappropriate. Now that I finally have my workstation set up the way I want it, I would like to get into Unity development. Seeing as POTC is a game near and dear to my heart, I'd love to help this project. I've already requested a linux build that you...

    New Horizons Remastered v0.1.1.21 Released

On my laptop the game launches, menus work, seems playable at max details. My system reports that the game hangs at launch but the "wait" button allows the game to start normally. I'll need to play around a bit more for more concrete results/answers. Also need to tweak my inputs as the mouse...

    New Horizons Remastered v0.1.1.21 Released

Thank you! Testing now. I notice that it's 32bit only for now, is that due to unity or? I know there are a few other Unity linux games that have "Experimental" 64 bit Linux support (Ballistic Overkill being one).

Announcing New Horizons Remastered - Bringing our best work to Unity

I would LOVE to test a linux build of NH. Please just let me know. Edit: The demo launches and is mostly playable (I need an actual mouse to test further) under WINE staging 2.12, so I have high hopes for a native build.

Announcing New Horizons Remastered - Bringing our best work to Unity

Apologies if this has already been requested, but since the shift to Unity for NH is there any chance for a Linux/Mac Build? I for one would appreciate a linux build and could offer my testing. Unity should allow for the simultaneous release on all three platforms.
