A couple of ideas

    A couple of ideas.

    Would it be possible to ransom captives on the beaches of their home island and thus avoid dealing with the fort. Even if you are flying a false flag and they let you more they sometimes fire on you after you complete the ransom and try to leave.

    The master battle axe, which looks like a halberd to me, should be carried at the shoulder like a long arm not at the waist.

    Perhaps. But not so easily, I don't think.

    The logic at the moment is that you can ransom prisoners also in non-hostile ports.
    But doing it in hostile ones (higher risk) also gives a higher reward.
