another way to get some quick money is to go to the govenors and talk buisness with them... theyll offer you some money to waste a pirate... do it, but take him for ransom... than you get the ransom money too... very effective...
if you wanna boost yer stats you can buy all sorts of "magic" gadgets, stones and so from the merchants, they boost your skills... well some of them do...
 
hmmm... this is weird though... for some reason i cant shoot my cannons...
only in my xebec CT... there are no indicators for range up in the compas... whats wrong?

Over at PirateHideout this happened to another poster, though his date was: `6-5`-1630. Suggestions over there dealt with his system (WindowsME which he had versus Win Pro 2000 or Windows XP) Also his graphic card may have something to do with the crash. Have you tried the I and T trick yet? What about your graphics card?

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy it! I just "`re-skinned`" it - took the existing skin for the Xebec and gave it a Celtic theme. I like the Xebec BR, the Turkish theme is very appropriate for the style of ship - but I wanted a nice Celtic ship and that was a good place to start.

FYI, if you don't see any range indicators in the compass, try using the "F" key or the "E" key (can never remember which) - they will zoom in or out on the minimap, and you will see the ranges and fields of fire. :p:
 
hmmm... nope... wasnt that... dunno know why... i zoomed in maximum on the ship... nothing... weird... whats the cool thing about having a super boat if ye cant fire all the guns... :p: :p:: bollox...
 
wheee... i tried reinitializing... it worked... i can shoot again... wooohoooo now i can terrorize the seven seas again... thanks for the help all or somthin

its a super nice ship... a regular racing boat... damn at a time i was sailing somewhere near 30 knots i think... both the two numbers in the corner was around 30 so it mustve been either of them... and with my three manowar escort, i can take on any fleet... hahaaaaa... of you go to Davy Jones locker...
