excellent vid, it has alot more of a Sea Dogs feel to it than a POTC feel, but the ship classes seem to be more and they also seem to be more historically accurate than POTC, not to mention i think i saw a Battleship in one of those clips <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
 
Since Akella has been working with the people from POTBS (making ships), I'm thinking their ship accuracy has to have gone up. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

Ever since reading Patrick O'Brian's books about naval warfare during the early 19th century I have been looking for computer games involving sailing ships and stuff. I am quite excited about Age of Pirates and I cannot wait until it is released in Canada. On another interesting note, I will be travelling to Portsmouth to see the HMS Victory in the next week.

Hey BB,

I used to live in Portsmouth but now moved up the road to Guildford. i wanted to go to the fireworks thing but because of work I had to miss out. Gutted. Still looked impressive from what i could see on the tv though.
Hope you had a good one. Cant wait for the rest of the celebrations or my next visit to the Victory.
