An ambitious project

Now you mention it; CCC might have added something like that to, I think, Pointe a Pitre.

waddya know, i was actually right. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":))" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" /> but surprisement aside, i think that that was a small dockyard.

I think there's a skeleton on a stick in one of CCC's Location Remodeling Campaign towns, probably Pointe a Pitre (the Conceicao look-a-like).

I've found a gallows out on the SketchUP 3D modeler' site. I've converted it into a 3Ds file, seeing that the TOOL rather accepts VRML97 file from 3Ds Max. Need to use a new texture and maybe resize it. You can find the file in my folder on the FTP.

Ok, I found a solution for the Bartolomeu' sword but there are two drawbacks :

I've had to choose a new model.
The colors are a bit shaded off.

But now the texture works. You can find in my folder all the required files to use it in-game.

First, next week-end, I think the fourth quest will be finished. I thought to use Blaze_NB for Nathaniel Hawks in the third quest but there are so many Blazes available, I prefer you decide what's the model I should use. After deciding the model, could a skinner make a "ghostly" Blaze ( a bit like the depp skeleton for the jack sparrow character.) It's for the final battle with the cursed caravel ? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

LOL. Ghost Blaze. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/24.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rofl" border="0" alt="24.gif" />
There's so many different blaze versions; not sure which one would be best. I'd probably just use the stock game one, so you can see it's supposed to be the original game's main character. Though another blaze would also be fine. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

I don't want to use the original one. What the interest to have so many blazes to finally use the original <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":huh" border="0" alt="huh.gif" /> ?

I think the difference would be too important. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

LOL @ Pirate_KK. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/24.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rofl" border="0" alt="24.gif" />

Good point, Bartolomeu. I have no preference; use what you like. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/razz.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":razz" border="0" alt="razz.gif" />

Pieter, could you give me a list of all the Blazes. (There are some not present in the Build mod right ? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> ). I wouldn't like to miss one.

I didn't note that Thomas The Terror released the "New Characters for 14.7 Plus" file. I found Blaze7 and I like this skin. I think I'll use it for the third quest. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/diomed.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":dio" border="0" alt="diomed.gif" />

Time has come to give a blessing to these Spaniards. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

BTW :
I created a quest_location for the Santo Domingo Port so that I can use the new ship locator (near the jetty) without overwriting the original one.
I've also had to create for the quest a location inside the Village Church.

Hi,
Looks like those Spaniards are in for a right good kicking from an angry Garden Gnome convention <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Only kiddin , it's going to be a realy good quest when it's finished.

damski.

That's indeed a nice Blaze skin to use. Good choice! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />
I don't really have a list of all of them and it's really hard for me to make one because the GM Viewer won't show the textures on the character models (VISTA!!! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/boom.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":boom" border="0" alt="boom.gif" /> ).

Two soldiers guarding a ship and a bunch of cloacked characters? You got me curious, Bartolomeu. This quest is going to be really cool! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bow" border="0" alt="bow.gif" />

This is a Greenford port-like location, right? I don't think you need to make a copy of that location; that just complicates matters. Just move the original locator. Doesn't really matter if there will always be a ship next to the jetty, right? As far as I'm concerned, it just looks cool. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

The "quest_location of Santo Domingo Port" uses this "special" locator. So, we don't overwrite the "normal" locator for Santo Domingo Port. Because if the locator is good for a light galleon it's really bad for a battleship for instance. And the quest_location allows me to "choose" what are the characters I want to have there. For instance, no guards at the gates or patrol, just two guards near the ship. Of course, I will add an additional fight in the ship (cargo hold I think) to release the Bartolomeu's crew (once more <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> ).
