The Apostol Felipe was one of the six galleons, which built Martin de Arana for the Spanish King Philip IV. They belonged to the class of Galeones de la Plata. This type galleon was used for the transport of goods and resources on the route between America and Spain, called the Carrera de las Indias. The first trip of the fleet went to this alsTeil galleon in 1629. At that time they carried gold and precious stones on the way to Spain. She was until 1633 the flagship of the Armada de la Guardia. She took part in the war of Brazil to win back Pernambuco and brought troops and money to Flanders in the dunes battle.

She is ready for fight. :dance

Ah a Galleon, a prize amoungst prizes :dance , my favourite ships for trading is the Galleon's and this would be a ship worth capturing as are all your ships pgargon. I look forward to seeing the updates, is she a new model or based off an exsisting model?

Hopefully a new model.

A Treasure Galleon, even better. :will

Nice update there, i feel my heart pounding when i look at them. I love my Galleon's. xD:

Incredible work Pgargon - as usual!!! La Couronne is also awesome! Sorry I hadn't answered back earlier. Very busy here. I did scan a bunch of pics for you. I will get them on Flickr tonight and tomorrow and send you a link. I actually have some time to play the game tonight and this weekend!

Here you go Pgargon.

I've uploaded images of the Prinz Willem at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/49225014@N05/

If you like these I have 5 other folders of images for other ships I've been putting together to include som smaller 17th century states yachts and 6th rates. Let me know if this is helpful and I will start uploading them.

Also this is my favorite sight for ship images for model building: http://www.kotiposti.net/felipe/Pictures/body_pictures.html

A lot of the Van de Velde drawings I told you I have are already at this link.

Thanks so much again for the beautiful models! They keep my interest up in playing the game after hundred of hours of gameplay. You are an artist.

I added another set: The Hollandia http://www.flickr.com/photos/49225014@N05/sets/

The small 17th century ship sets are coming along nicely. I think you will like them.

Looks awesome pgargon!!! I can't wait to play with it in the game. It will be an appropriate Almiranta with several of the COAS war galeons around it to make up a proper Spanish Flota.

Here are two more Batch folders hung illustrating 17th Century Dutch pattern Pinnaces (Pinaschip) and Frigates here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/49225014@N05/sets/

I'm currently working on an English 17th century large ships folder, an English 17th century 5th/6th rater folder and a 17th century small working ships folder that includes herring busses and States yachts. Plenty of material.

Thanks for the links modernknight1. Here's a new update. :dance

Is really a brilliant link. Just that I am looking for some time. Thanks for the two good pinnaces plans. :onya

Lovely work as always, pgargon! :)
Seems like Spain is going to get a very nice ship.

Thank you.
There are still some adjustments and rigging (Locator) is not yet finished. :hmm
The galleon is expected to finish next week.

Nice work Pgargon, she is looking very nice and will no doubt be the best Galleon in both POTC and COAS. Can't wait to see sail her. :dance
