Aztec Throne - Nothing Happening?

Yep. Me complaining again :) This time, as the title sugests, nothing happens when I fight the guards and find the treasure. Is there any possibility I did something wrong? I had a case once where I was transported to my boat and said I had to escape due to detection. Was that supposed to happen? Somehow I think it does not. Thanks for any help you can give :doff
 
After you enter Vera Cruz Fort (Quest Movie ) and fight guards in courtyard - go and find Aztec Throne - when you walk up to Throne quest book should update. :yes

then exit warehouse and go to door at far left of courtyard - go through armoury & up stairs ( soldier appears behind you and challenges you ) - transported to town ..........

It looks like the trigger point for the Quest Book update failed - suggest you go back to a previous save and try again.

Thats what I did, but no QB update :shock

I comb the walkthroughs, and have done recently. That's why I came here, because when I got detected, it didn't watch the main line what the guide was following, and there was nothing. I walk up to the throne and then nothing. Any ideas? I'm always getting stumped :/
 
Sometimes the Quest book updating is a bit tempremental.

Suggest you go back to a save befor entering Vera Cruz Fort and try again. :drunk
 
Yeah, it seems to work now :)

But guess what? I have yet ANOTHER problem. The soldier that apears when you proceed to the next section does not talk to me. Instead just walks up to me and does nothing but stand there. When I move he follows me, but doesn't say anything :/

Whenever you get stuck --- go back to a previous save and try again( may have to do it a couple of times ) - so Save often

But I've tried like 10 times :? I can try even more times if you think it would help, but the fact that I have tried so many times leads me to believe that it is a bug.
