Aztec Treasure Problem

Hi, my problem is that after I talked to the cook about the treasure, I'm sitting in the tavern. Then Elting shows up but when he talks to me there's just an empty text box!? Does someone has the same problem? Thanks in advance for any suggestion!

Just a question : Did you use the shortcut to play this quest or are you playing the entire main quest?
