:shrug I have not played POTC in a week. It stutters so badly I can not stand to look at the screen.
 
Is it just me or is performance for you truly all over the place??? :shock
 
:shrug It starts off fine in a new game but then falls off a cliff and becomes unplayable. Since it seems I am the only one experiencing this there is no reason to get bothered about it.

I have 2 GOF2 installs and 2 POTC installs and they all run great except 3.5. From my point of view 3 out of 4 ain't bad.
 
I still want to know why if we can figure that one out.
Our tests never gave any conclusive evidence about anything.
But that's the only way we can ever discover the reason.
 
@Hylie Pistof is there any set point on which is start or after a set amount of time or is it random when the lag starts?

Do you have a savegame where this is the case so I can see if its also the case for me?
 
There is no set time that I can tell. All I know is it starts fairly early on. I have been deliberately sailing only one small ship and it still does it. Even the menus are jerky.

I have no save from a time when it ran smooth, so this is as good as any.
