Age of Pirates is the wrong base game. How did you even manage to do that?

Well that would explain that. I thought it was the same game but named differently for EU/US versions.

Pirates of the Caribbean was named the same in the entire Western world. Probably had a different title in Russia though.

Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales was a "sequel" of sorts.
Similar, but not the same.

I don't understand how you managed to install the mod at all though.
The Installer EXE should tell you it is the wrong base game and refuse to install.

No idea, I just pointed it at the install folder and it worked.

That's odd; as far as I know AoP doesn't have a "readme.txt" file and that is what it is checking for.
Maybe I should find a better check....

In the meantime, do you also have the correct game to install the mod on?
