I've been trying to hire officers at the taverns but when I attempt to, I tell the potential officer I've got a full crew. Why is this??? Help me please.....

Can't Hire Officers

I've been trying to hire officers at the taverns but when I attempt to, I tell the potential officer I've got a full crew. Why is this??? Help me please.....
Because your abilities are limitted as a beginner. (Its worse in AOP than in COAS) Go to the caves and fight skeletons. Save over and over. You will level up and gain more abilities. Then the dialogue window won't say you have a full crew when you talk to prospective officers. You will be able to hire more officers as your skills increase.
