Can't use the F buttons

Well hi guys,

I am new here in the forum and have a problem with POTC new horizons.
I can play the game and it runs very good only there is one problem. The menu and character menu are set to the buttons F1 & F2. Thpse buttons are on my laptop ''help'' and ''lower brightness'' so i can't use them. I have tried to change them with notebook but that did not work and Ivé deleted the Option file.

Somebody knows a solution for this?

Thread moved to the correct forum. Please do get your games straight!

You can change the controls in PROGRAM\CONTROLS\DefaultControls.c . Reset controls to default afterwards.
 
It did not work.. I changed it on the notebook to the buttons '' k '' and ''L '' then I started POTC clicked controls, set to default , play the game and it did not work..
 
At the bottom of DefaultControls.h is a list of the allowed buttons and their proper names. Did you rename the buttons correctly?
