Grant Sparrow was a name that was found in a fake trailer description, I think. Somebody made that one up. Grant "Sea Sponge" Sparrow was the name in the fake trailer description, if I recall correctly. It seems that his real name in the film is Teague Sparrow.
You saw the photo of Teague, didn't you? I thought he looked pretty much like Jack. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

There are some really hilarious picturs there. I especially love the one with Jack and Barbossa apparently fighting over the captaincy of the Black Pearl. Tooooo funny! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

Also: The trailer is (FINALLY) going to be released this Monday. Reports of people who have already seen it can be found <a href="http://forums.keeptothecode.com//viewtopic.php?t=9190&start=270" target="_blank">here</a>.
 
seems to me that barbossa would end up on his head in that slightly precarious position. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> that look on jack's face at the 6th one is priceless. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
 
It might be Russian, but that doesn't stop it from being interesting. See the trailer for At World's End <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvloCSRCIJU" target="_blank">here</a> while you can. Or wait until tomorrow for the official release.

Note how Jack apparently seems to repeat everything Barbossa says, instead of saying the same things on his own accord. Might Barbossa actually be the better captain? Also notice how Barbossa doesn't truly object to Jack calling the ship "his ship". <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
 
actually, barbossa starts to play along with the game and wants to make jack repeat him properly. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

But I hate those kind of trailers <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> cause the pictures where played much to fast so that most of the details where missed at the first looking. So I have to look the trailer a few times more I think <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />
 
I like to watch it frame-by-frame in QuickTime. Unfortunately I can't download the HD trailer version with my slow and expensive internet connection here.

<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" /> That was a great clip! And the long pause after the pirate <i>put his name in for consideration</i> till he finally buckles, worked. Usually stuff like that falls flat.

The original PotC Trilogy seems to keep improving with time.
(Certainly compared to the... uh... stuff... that came after.)
