Capture Screen

I've just started playing AOP again { after giving up in disgust at all the crashes with the original version } I've installed the super mod 1.1 plus the 5 update patches and after playing for awhile I went to capture a ship and the ship capture interface screen seems to be wrong and wont let me, It should have the specs of my ship and name on the left and the other ship on the right but it hasn't all it has is Player on the left with no ship specs and Shipyard on the right.

I try reinstalling the game and super mod + updates twice but get the same thing, Is this a bug in the mode and has anyone els noticed this OR have I installed the mod wrong some how.

Dose not look any thing like this

of your Problems with the Menu! I don't ever came accross any problems
in either v 1.51 or the SM/5 <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />
Install: first AOP 1.41, followed by the Supermod and updates 1 - 5
first AOP 1.41, followed be Patch 1.51 and NOCD.
These are the two Install procedures for the seperate Setups.
If you follow them, there schould be no problem!
 
I've just installed the game plus the super mod and 5 updates.[attachmentid=938]


and here a screen shot of the ship capture screen I'm getting, If I do the other install of 1.41 followed by the 1.5 patch and NoCd it workes ok
 
Forgot to say that I installed a fresh install of AOP plus only the 1.1 super mod without any of the 5 updates and I still get the strange capture ship screen in my other post.

which disapears when you install the updates.......all of them!!! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />
 
How many updates are there for the super mod ? I've installed 5 updates and still get the strange screen.

What version of AOP are you installing Supermod to?

I've done a fresh install of AOP 1.41 without any of the official patches and installed the super mod plus 5 updates 3 times but still get the strange capture screen and I've installed to many mods with Morrowind and POTC to not know what I'm doing, On the other hand if I install AOP with the 1.51 patch it works ok and I get the correct capture screen.

Everybody OK? except leongt and me?
 
I didn't think to say before that after installing the Super mod plus updates , when the game starts it says on the startup screen { Alpha build } Should it say this ?

have to be applied in order

1 then 2 then 3 then 4 then 5
 
Yes kinda figured that, would be pointless installing old over new wouldn't it.

Anyway I've decided to do a clean install and just use 1.51 and NoCd crack instead, Pity there are some good things in the mod.
 
Just for the hell of it I tried the mod installer and as per instructions by Thomas the Terror installed the super mod and all 5 updates all in order, But still get the strange ship capture screen so I give up.

It's not that serious! It still beats me that you're getting
this bug! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bounce.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":b:" border="0" alt="bounce.gif" />
 
I'll continue to play the game with the super mod installed and hopefully thats the only bug I get, I did notice at startup screen it says version 2 of the super mod so I guess all the updates installed ok?

The game is playable und don't forget to save!
Do that manualy, don't relay on the Autosave!! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

I thought this was part of the supermod, wasn't the text removed on both sides because it caused problems?

I've got both and have text in both!
I remember having it in Supermod without
the updates but not since update 5!
