    i noticed that the sea color in CoAS during daytime is somehow has an eerie sense, its all dark green and its not relaxing, for sure the pirates needs some relaxing feeling in sailing. maybe the sea should be more a lighter color :D

    Coas sea color can be adjusted through weather files. No need for textures :)

    Sounds like a great idea ramptor, and realistic, since that is how Caribbean water is :onya

    Thou wouldn't it look weird considering the islands have a darker color to match the water now?

    In PotC, we now have some code to change the sea colour to Caribbean light blue when you get close to a shore.
    In real life, the water at sea has the same colour wherever you go, until it gets so shallow that the bottom begins to influence the water colour.

    I agree with Iron Roger Flint, but will add that the weather file needs to focus on frequency of weather type. If you play the game enough you will see some really clear conditions. I often sail into Tortuga and can see all the way to the bottom. There's even a shipwreck on the sea floor. You can see the bottom of your own hull and keel cutting through the water. All I can say is that this condition doesn't seem to occur that often. If it could be changed to occur more and have a little more transparent blue added to the clear effect, I think we would have what everybody wants. I have no time to experiment with it right now. Wish I did.

    Drinking rum in your cabin ;..;
    Its no use to work on that thing belive me ik it would be useful if game have normal shores around island but its cuted like / and deep under is sea floor which i belive isnt as in real life so if u make mess with water opacity etc u wont enoy in effect and also if colors are to bright then reflections are even brighter so water looks more like chrome then normal :)
