Corsairs 3: History of Pirate

Those character models are from CoAS for sure, which means at least some of the other content will probably come from CoAS.
Which, again, means we can't use it in the Build mod for copyright reasons. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />
Unless we use them as a base and modify them, as far as I'm concerned. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/razz.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":razz" border="0" alt="razz.gif" />

Copyright, copyright, copyright and copyright... guess what? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> You can stick those copyrights up the ass for all I care. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> We're pirates (most of us) not copyrights.. mind you! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

CoAS is made by a company with which we want to remain friendly, especially after all the help they have given them.
Not stealing their work for use in the Build mod is the least we can do.
Pirate_KK and me decided, though, that we CAN use content from other games IF
one of our modders has used them as a base for his/her own work, but modified it further.

Well then.. what yer waiting for? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> Start salvaging and repaint the salvaged booty. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> Let's hope the cops won't notice. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/389_robber.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":robber:" border="0" alt="389_robber.gif" />

Damit... secon time when it's uncomplete upload... Something with my FTP browser.... I'll upload it one more time. It size must be 6.966.202 b, but on FTP he's 3.058.456 b.... You can try in 10 mins...

Edit: Done... all links are in first post...

Hi,

If the people who did the work on this stuff do or don't mind us using any of it....I reckon they will mind it being posted on the general forum for all and everybody to download & use freely. Wouldn't it be better to put it on the FTP or in the modders section....it's not as blatent <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> .

damski.

Indeed. Better put it on the FTP.
Officially, even when repainting their work, I think we still aren't allowed to use it.
However, we decided that we don't care about that, because it severely limits our possibilities while the Russians obviously DO do it.
We also made up this "rule" because we already HAD added some AoP content to the Build mod, which we didn't want to take out again.
So just adding the best parts, when modified, shouldn't be too much of a problem.
We can't go adding <i>everything</i> though. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

So.. that <i>everything</i> just goes down the toilet? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Deep one, please don't go and spoil this with stupid remarks, we have special threads for that.

I think we could use the new cabins. We already have the texture files ourselfs, we could use one cabin, the bigger one for Brig type ships. The other one is smaller. I don't have an actual goal for that. We can also use some of the weapon models, it contains a set with some nice small swords, which we can use for the navies. There is also a whole set of good, new pistols. And those are pistols of every period. It even contains a 16th century wheellock. This way, we can also make the weapons a bit period specific.

Files are in ftp... I just posted direct links....

What about locations? I meen those 2 beaches with walkable forts, and some dungeons? I realy love to see some more dungeon maps ingame... And walk (or capture) that kind of "fort location"....

Those forts are in the SoFS addon for AOP too.

SD, could you write down the install sequence for this mod please?

U need to have installed both AOP and COAS plus its starforce protected

I don't think CoAS has to be installed....It's just an AOP addon Zareth.

On which version I don't know...1.41 or 1.5 <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

i know its for aop but had to have installed coas to install it seems like it still needed some of its resources

<a href="http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=pl&sl=ru&tl=en&u=http://hotp-addon.com/files.php%3Fpage_id%3D1" target="_blank">http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=p...p%3Fpage_id%3D1</a>

I can confirm that nearly all of those new assets appear to come from CoAS. I recognize nearly every bit of those items and maps.

All locations is from Korsairs 3: History of Pirate.
Instalation:
You have to be installed Korsairs 3 (Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales) and Korsairs 3: Sea Legend is Back.
You show on install both of game instalation directoryes, and setup copies needed files form AoP:SLiB to AoP:CT and adds custom content to AoP:CT...

Forts are from "custom pack"... mini addon for AoP:SLiB... That addon don't even have a name....

I think we can add those; we can always modify the texture a bit later...? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
