I keep getting "please insert original DVD" I have original disc in. what should I do?
Have you tried deactivating all anti-virous/malware, defender and superfluous programs? I use an AMD optimizer so that my system is maximized. Sometimes this will loosen this problem up. Give it a try.
Yes I have and I'm still receiving same error message, thanks anyway!
Have you tried the No-CD that GameCopyWorld has? I had the same thing happen a couple times, and it disappeared once I started using that.
I never heard of it. what do I do and how?
Download the file I've attached to this message, then extract the two files that are in it. You can just delete the reloaded.info file. Copy and paste the dvm.dll file into your Age of Pirates 2 install directory, overwriting the one that's already there.
The game should now start and run without the CD.
Follow what stallion said XD
if you can find CRACK folder with dvm.dll.
Copy / Paste it.
Just outside the folder with the Start Application.
Not with the Modules......
have fun !
When you start as PeterBlood,
There's a walkthrough around here. =)
Enjoy the game like i did and still am !!
I altered some files...
my bluebird xebec now carry 5,000,000 cargo =P
For fun ! hohoho !
can tell me how to change my Bluebird into carrying a 42lbs =P HAHAHAHA
it worked, you are so awesome! thank you very much!
No problem. I still think it's hilarious when legit users like you and me have to crack the games they bought to get them to work. :
yeah, its horrible. are there any guides I can download?
For how to crack games? I don't know of any. I probably couldn't link to them anyway - I'm guessing that violates the forum TOS.
No. Guides for the game. My ship is slow and horrible and im afraid to sail in the wrong direction cuz it will take me 3 hours to get there and if its wrong im SOL
The only guide I've used is this one: http://forum.pirates...t-walkthroughs/ .
As for sailing in the wrong direction, here's the map of the gameworld: http://img7.imagesha...2323/aopmap.jpg .
There's also the Tips thread: http://forum.pirates...he-tips-thread/ .
As for ships being slow and horrible, you could be captaining a vessel that outclasses you. Smaller ships are a pain in the ass in big battles, but you can usually outrun your enemies in them, too.
I docked my ship on a beach in bermuda and made my way to shipyard through a cave and the jerk locked the door behind me at is tryn to charge me $20000 to open it!!!! how do I get my ship back?
it's not working on mine mate, maybe you can help?
The file in post #6 worked for others and myself. You just drop it into your COAS folder and let it overwrite the old one.
thats the one that is not working bro
Try this one bud.
thanks ill give it a go and let you know
No problem bud, hope it works for you.
