Turin, Italy - December 11, 2014 - Picaresque Studio is proud to give fans a first look at the upcoming game 'Nantucket' in a new teaser trailer - the game will be available on PC in 2015.

The teaser (available here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKLxU5FSUVE ) features a portion of the Nantucket's opening cinematic and was animated and scored in-house at Picaresque Studio. It also features the voice work of Jeff Espinoza (Deadlight).

Set a few years after the story of Herman Melville's Moby Dick, Nantucket promises to thrust players into the tortured life of Ishmael as he comes to grips with being the sole survivor of both the wreck of the Pequod and the wrath of Ahab. Players - as Ishmael - will scrape what they can from the ocean by exploring, discovering, and harvesting marine life in a 19th century fashion.

The Picaresque Studio team will offer details about Nantucket during development at their Dev Blog which is located here: http://picaresquestudio.com/ as well as their Twitter account located here: https://twitter.com/PicaresqueStd

About Picaresque Studio:

Picaresque Studio was founded in April 2013 by former employees of some of Europe's largest developers, including Mercurysteam, Geniaware and Ubisoft. The team has worked on Xbox 360, PS3, DS, and PC games such as the Castlevania:Lords of Shadow trilogy and Lords of Football. Picaresque Studio aims to be more than game developers - their goal is to tell stories in the most immersive, interactive way possible. Nantucket represents the first of these efforts.

And what exactly is wrong with the look of comic books anyway? :razz

I think that is probably just the cinematics, though the art style will probably be similar in the game. I can't wait to see some in-game footage!
