Released Fix for the Fast Galleon

If you have that uploaded somewhere, I'll put her into my new Update files.
 
So that is including Armada's hull fixes as well, right? Only has to be HEX-edited for the other same-type ships.
 
Yes. I just finished the final work on the hull. All that is left is hex editing for the other versions.
 
I will do it using this latest hull. For me this ship will never be "finished".
 
The interim fastgalleons are done. For now. They are fastgalleon1 & 2, the pirate fastgalleon, and La Marianna.
GhostofDeath should look over La Marianna to make sure I did it right.

Here is the interim version of the fastgalleon11, or Golden Hind, in GOF2. She has the good bow wave, improved masts sails and rigging, and the choice between having the critter on the bow or not. She now also uses Craiggo's textures.

It seems I still have not recovered from the election celebrations and am having a difficult time getting anything done, so please report the mistakes.

I am pleased to announce that I repaired the two missing guns on the Fast Galleon. It has now a total of 38 guns instead of 36.

Then you have the file just below, tell me if everything is correct.

There are no error messages. As this is the first time I made locators. I want to know if everything works well everywhere and if worn, the angle and position of the guns are good.
 
In the case of cannons on ships, it should be a simple matter of copying the line of an existing cannon so that the angle will be the same as the previous.
It's not easy to see if the angles are good or bad though. We have some issues with that on the new Curacao fort with that as well.
At least.... we think that's where the problem is.
 
Ah. I have the merchant version right now so should be able to test it today.

I could not figure out that text file so did it by hand following the advice in Armada's locators tutorial.

Those 2 cannon now fire and I did update the number of cannons in shipsinit.c but they do not show up on screen.

Looks like those locators should work fine. :onya
 
I added the 2 cannons to all 4 fast galleons and edited the shipsinit.c, but the ship still only shows 36 cannons instead of 38. Dunno where else to look.
