FPS after salvos

I love the cannon port opening - and I know in the current version there is no limit on reloading time. On my system when I fired off 4 or 5 salvos in succession the game performance deteriorated badly, i.e. slideshow. It did not recover, even after i sailed on and the smoke had dissipated.

Single salvos every few minutes is fine.

Yeah, this is something we'll have to optimise heavily for larger battles. The particle effects are not finalised yet, but we will try to improve performance with newer versions.
