Game crash every 30 mins

Sorry, I know there must be a thread on this already, but I searched and searched...

It seems a bunch of people are experiencing a game freeze up every 30 mins. Mine started after I was about 20 hours into it. I even tried to reload an old save, incase the save game was corrupted somehow.

How did you guys fix it, or is it just something to deal with?

I've disabled the Full Screen Mode and check Safe mode on config and the game never crash.

And if you still want full screen just change the screen resolution thing so it is the same as your display (SO it looks full screen but acts as a small screen <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />)

I play in window mode and get crashes once or twice a day. Sucks but it's bearable.

I also get freezes, but its like the engine pauses at certain times then goes back to normal, and it only happens at sea... It seems to be linked to atmospheric changes (time of day and weather I guess)
