Game will not run..

Hey there,

I have had this game work before on the 1.42 patch but after reinstalling windows i have decided to use the supermod. The problem is, My game won't start properly as it immediately crashes into an Engine.exe error.

I have a Raedon 9250 and i am aware of the issues around the card. Anyway, I heard the supermod had a range of fixes from the patches so i assumed it would work in the same way and fix those ati problems so i installed super mod 1.1 with all the updates and unfortunately it had the engine.exe on startup. I really want to try the mod but i have been unable to think why this isn't working.

I then proceeded to try installing 1.5 patch then the supermod...no luck, then i tryed just installed the 1.1 supermod on its on...no luck <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> (i did uninstall AOP btw)

Any idea?

date? Update! It does'nt have to be expencive either. I'm not rich but have discarded
better Cards. I've got an ATI Radeon 9800 collecting Dust in the cubboard and that was
only 90.- dollars wenn bought about a year or so ago!
Wenn you bought the game, did you read the sys.stats? It clearly states that the card is
not supported! I know they brought out a fix, but that works only with 1.42.
The supermod has to be installed without that, so you're back to square one! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/slap.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":slap" border="0" alt="slap.gif" />

Supermod must be installed over a clean install of AOP with NONE OF THE AKELLA PATCHES INSTALLED. Install AOP, then Supermod then all supermod updates.
