Gray deck on the Surprise [BUG ?]

I've just installed the fresh COAS and than GOF 1.2 Full Relase Version 1.0.
I wanted to start with HMS Surprise, so I changed the line in RPGUtilite.c and I met something like that:





And now I'd like to ask you guys if it's a typical bug or not?
And the most important - how to repair that?

EDIT: I noticed that it's typical for the red-black surprise. On the black-yellow surprise, almost everything is fine, but there is no the wall in the cabine of the captain.

This probably means the texture that was originally assigned to the deck was removed or had its name changed. could anyone with COAS GOF hex edit the french version to have the same deck as the british version? unless it only occurs when you change the line to have it as your starting ship? in which case it's likely more complex...
