Need Help How to install Maya 5.0

Ive got the files given to me by damski62 but when i ran the file: MAYA5-RUS.EXE it opens a installer. Then after installing there wasn't any kind of maya on my desktop? What to do? Can somebody post a toturial on how to install maya 5.0 from Alia WaveFront? Thanks

I never did this myself, so I can't be of much help. But is there anything in the Start menu instead?

No there isn't. Theres nothing installed....

There's a folder called maya in the same directory as the Russian - exe you used.....open that and use setup exe from there.
If you open the other download....maya 5(1).0 it is easier to activate the program using the content & instructions in it, it's explained clearer.
