I don't think that would be wise.

There were a lot of problems earlier and although most have them have been sorted - installing on top of an earlier build may cause some of them to reappear for you.

The safest thing to do is to do a completely new installation for Beta 4.

Sorry - since the mod replaces many files & does not keep a copy of the originals

Also if you use the game's uninstaller - it will not remove many of the mod files.

The safest way to delete the modded game is to delete the the game folder and all its sub-folders completely.

Actually, you should be able to. Though that may not give you the cleanest install.
