is there any way to stop the character moving while he blocks? (Build 13)

What do you mean by "moving"? What kind of movement? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wacko:" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />
I am wondering if perhaps you are sidestepping at the same time as blocking. In that case you should reset the controls to default in the Options menu. -
