Islands & Towns of Age of Pirates

Uh!?

I'm quite surprised that Cuba is not included. And not a single piece of the Spanish Main. Dammit, these were favourite pirate objectives! Everybody likes to attack little coastal towns in the Spanish Main and it won't be possible in AOP.
 
Dunno yet Nachinus, ive yet to find out what the engine limits are so it still may be moddalbe to add it, I agree to the spanish main should be in it.
 
I tend to think that the reason why Cuba and the Spanish Main is left out is of gameplay and concept nature. I guess that they wanted to keep the 'islands' system of Sea Dogs and POTC, with a town or two and some land locations, a small piece of land isolated from the rest islands.

I guess that Cuba is just too big, and the Spanish Main, well, is a continent, and maybe then they would have to create a land travel system or something, or the people would just be asking why they can't travel from Cartagena from Panama or from Santiago to la Habana by land. Some other technical problems regarding big landmasses with a lot of objects, landscape and textures may be the reason too.

I underestand this kind of thechnical limitations and well, I guess I'll love the game anyway, but I have to admit that I'm a little dissapointed, because I expected a map similar to Pirates' one.

Jamaica was first called Island of Santiago and it was founded by spanish colonists. Over time, the english conquered it.

Islands of Age of Pirates, what lovely sunny and "eden like" island would tickle yer fancy or would ye sea bastards call port 'o call?!

Curacao is so damn alone and far away from other colonies and this I dont like maybe would be better include adleast towns to macaraibo...
