Bug la tortue freeze

i am escorting a merchant to la tortue and when i go to port my character is frozen . I can not get him to walk or anything and besides i get no merchant coming up to me to thank me and pay me. There is no sign of the merchant period. The merchants name is Andemio Cordobes and the ship is Santa Aguera, a bermuda sloop. Is there a way to fix this? Man, i sailed a long way to have this happen. Thanks

Try F12 whenever you get stuck.

It sounds like the escort missions are still bugged.

tryed F12 but no go, although i have F12 set up to show me coordinates/ my ships position when sailing. Is that going to interfer with the F12 reboot? Do i need to turn off the ships position feature first?

Just make sure that the switch is set to 0: switch(0)

EDIT: Also provide your .log files just after the problem occurs again so it can be further analyzed.

Where and what to do to enable this escort mission? Storyline?

Just go into any tavern and ask the bartender if anyone needs an escort. It is in the menu.

And please DO try those Escort Missions. I tried to fix them months ago, but needed confirmation which I never got.

ok, just upgraded the files to the dec.6 version and need to start a new venture, bummer. I'll keep watch for escort bugs and report them properly
