L'Hermione has arrived at her first port of call outside of France, Las Palmas on the island of Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands! She arrived there at noon on Friday May 1'st. The crew was decked out in full historical costumes and she saluted the port with cannon fire! She will be in port at Las Palmas until Wednesday, May 6'th, when she will enter the open Atlantic on her maiden voyage to the East Coast of America.
