PA!: How many Islands are included, is it the whole Caribbean?

Renat: Game features 16 colonized islands. Jamaica, Hispaniola, Puerto Rico, Tortuga, Dominica, `Marie-Galante`, Guadeloupe, Martinique, St.Martin, St.Eustatius, Curacao, Barbados, Montserrat, Antigua, Nevis and St.Kitts. We also were eager to create continental coastline but engine restrictions forced us to abandon this idea

That means no Portugal <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

I think could be a way to make happy all people (mostly of them) over this God´s blessed plannet <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> , a sort of trick permitting to rename any island and to put on there ur country`s flag <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />
It´s not historicaly accurate, but it`s basically a game, isn't?? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

The city screenshots look really good, alot better than the static background looking ones before. I like how you can see the ships in the harbor instead of making the city a seperate map like in POTC and Sea Dogs. The shots of the ships at sea look a bit low quality compared to Age of Sail. Did you notice that guy is working on what appears to be a 15" monitor? Have you noticed they nicked some of PA smileys on that forum also?

Akella publishes a release date of Q2/2005 on their website.

Not easy to find and it's unknown how serious this date is.
