Mummy powder (ascold quest) SPOILER

1. Talk to random merchant (my was cartagena or cumana), ask if he needs help or "what new?"
he tells u about mummy powder
2. I found it in Marigo, street merchant. Need to ask him about 5-6 times about powder.

3. Bring it back to first merchant, and he tells u to go to Ascold on Guadalupe(i think).

4. Ascold will give u next mission to find 3 items, red mask, vessel and sciptar

Thats from me. If somebody know what next, please post it.

Note: This quest can only be started in Hardcore mode.
I have read something about asking for a trade run and not accepting it. Then the merchant might start this quest.

You are mistaken. This is hardcore quest but for all levels.

...same doubt here... Tresures, like the buying maps at the guys of the taverns or is it a certain location on the map???

This is a random, plus luck.
I don't know if there is a link, but if you find the treasure wiht junk and don't leave it, the next treasures are very good.

Yeah, did that. Now she tells me that my money is no good there anymore and won't sell anything to me. Will she change her mind or have I permanently disabled one of the vendors in my game?

I dont know about her selling u other stuff, but i think she is not the right one with a powder... Ask another....

Well, i think thats they call it "hard core quest"... i' ve red that u can see where to start if u activate debug console, but it may mess up ur game...or not?
 
from the beginning I've been playin with the debugger <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> but still no quest.... and no option about it in the debugger...

PS: what's that for: "Give next line quest" in the debugger?

in the debugger???
And what next??? Questions what to do next??? Questions that arise from misunderstanding happening in the game. The game has a lot of things that affect only in dialogs. CoAS required thoughtful to play and not play in the sandbox with a debugger.
 
btw I use the debugger only if I in need of money <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pirate2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p:" border="0" alt="pirate2.gif" />D
 
Why would you ever be in need of money? I have an absurd abundance of cash in my game.
 
Well, lets get back to the quest... I found items in Tennocitt.., CoAS and somewhere in chest searching treasure... And now i have another quest from Askold... I have to find some list of artefacts, went to havana and learned something about manowar...Now i have to find Askolds informer. I searched Havana and nothing. Went to Askold, but he wont help me... Do i have to search every town and speek to everyone, or i missed some hints on this?
