Need Help with "HOIST THE COLORS" quest

When Becket comes to me at the Speightowne tavern, he asks me to escort his ship to Port Royale, but when I near the island of Jamaica, his ship just disappears and doesn't come back. Then the quest breaks and I can't do anything else. Also, In the Anna Maria quest, I talk to her at the lighthouse and she tells me to go into town. I go back to Speightowne, but nothing happens! Do I have to go to Bridgetown or something? Much help would be appreciated!!!!

What game version are you running?

She is actually talking about Beckett ;) and Beckett should still turn up on the jetty (his ship disappearing is intentional)
 
Yeah, she talks about meeting me at the lighthouse and she starts talking about Barbossa and the treasure and gives me a map. Also, where do I meet Becket after his ship disappears?

For the game version I am running is build 14 beta.
 
The jetty is the port, the wooden walkway that has ships next to it.

He should be waiting on the jetty next to his ship in Port Royal on Jamacia
 
If he is not there go back to a save from before you talked to him in the tavern and he should turn up if you make sure he leaves the tavern before you walk out
 
I tried and it still did not work. Also, Becket says he will meet me over in ther port, I don't see him, only his ship. Is there a patch that could help?
 
Ok, I have been reading about the patch for the game and it should fix Becket on the jetty, but will I have to start the game over by downloading the patch? I don't want all that work to be for nothing!

Yes all patches require a new game, but there is a massive bug that we dont know how to sort out in patch 1 (for Jack Sparrow) :facepalm
 
Ok, I tried to wait until he left, but it did't work. Also, is he literal when he says "After some business, I will meet you in the port."

Maybe I should look for the pieces of the map before I begin working for the EITC.
