Ok so I have rebuilt one of the outfits I did for 'Jill' I used Alan Smithee's Beatrice face texture as a base for the face and Akella's Danielle clothes texture to build my texture reference so I could add new clothes and of course the akella danielle model to apply the new textures to. Alan Smithee's oh so cute Beatrice face texture was cut out of his engl.tga.tx and modified to suit the danielle model aswell as the look I was going for, seeing as it was Alan's original texture however I can't really release Jill until I have his permission. I just PM'd him to ask but I thought I should post a public request as well to keep everything square.
And whilst we are on the subject I also decided to change Jill's hair colour to Auburn after noticing that she bore a startling resemblance to High Sea Lass' avatar as a brunette, having lost my original files in the crash I decided to cheat and borrow Petros' 50_Aine's beautiful recoloured hair as it is just the shade I wanted so I will also need the Ok from Petros, again have just PM'd him and again consider this public request to beg, borrow, steal etc.
The only other problem I am having is deciding which armour textures to use, the new new ones(second row in the below pic) are based off of real armour and were looking fabulous prior to crash and loss of files, since I rebuilt them though they have never looked as good to me as when I first made them (isn't that always the case <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> ) and now I'm thinking I might prefer the old new engraved ones I did for "Jack Sparrow - Reworked" what do you guys think, is it just me or do you guys prefer the engraved? maybe they just need a sash like on the quickie Catalina I did above.

That last one on the end is Jill sans vest, it's not really enough to be called a new outfit and the armour textures will be the same as the vest ones I just like it as an alternative for those particularly hot days on land or at sea.
The coming outfits will include a variation on the above to be a little less casual, akin to my Privateer Jack then I will start having a look at some other models to get the final two outfits; Pirate Jill and Officer Jill.

P.S. I never intended to release the quickie Catalina in my previous post, but if you guys think she is good enough for release and the 'Real' Catalina doesn't mind, I will include her when I eventually upload Jill. I can also with practically no effort put her in any of the outfits I do for Jill but I wouldn't want to use the same colours, I want to keep Jill at least somewhat unique so if anyone has requests <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/poet.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hmm" border="0" alt="poet.gif" /> on colour scheme or outfit or anything let me know and there is a good chance I'll do it.
P.P.S. I also kinda feel like I might be starting to come near stepping on some great toes here <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/guns.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":2guns" border="0" alt="guns.gif" /> , what with Jill looking like High Sea Lass, Catalina's namesake used as the base of a model, as well as the use(assuming I get permission) of pieces of Petros' and Alan Smithee's Textures; so if you guys n gals, or anyone for that matter, wants to make use of these textures feel free (Anything I release is fairgame far as I am concerned, but do check with anyone else I may have credited first) and if you want the layered photoshop files I made just PM me wich ones your interested in and an address to send them and they are yours.
