Ummm, yes. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> I usually get him on my first trip to QC, which is right after I've hired Fred Bob. I do that even before I tell Silehard that the French have taken Oxbay. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> Maybe that's the thing, I need to tell the gov about Oxbay before Nigel will "act up"? This is yer problem me thinks,Ye have te moore yer ship at Oxbay port to trigger the start O' de quest,so Nigel disappears into Oxbay Tavern,if Oxbay not free an ye go in de back door, it won't trigger de quest,Nigel will jest follow ye around,assum'n yer probly going in a back door since Oxbay not free. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
 
No, he´s not in the tavern, and nobody tells me about him. I´ve been to Oxbay quite a few times, he never showed up again. I suppose I´ve got to go there right when I get the message he left my ship, just the same as with Arabella Silehard, if you don´t follow her out into wilderness as soon as you get that part of the quest from the tavernkeeper, she won´t show up.
 
Hmmm,I just tried it Grimm an he showed up fer me,he's upstairs in de tavern,although he was coupled with another NPC,wid some manouver'n,was able te open his dialog,aye try going te de tavern right away.Hope it werks fer ye mate <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
 
Yep, I found him just after I had a good night´s sleep in the upper room. When I came out, I thought that the smuggler definitely looked strange, so I talked to him, and bingo, there was Nigel. I got the chocolate run done, but right now, I´ve got to prescribe Silehard a beneficial therapy - beneficial to humanity, that is.

That´s a quote from "Captain Blood". I love such ways of formulating things. That exchange reminds me of the Errol Flynn movie Robin Hood where Maid Marien says,"You speak treason!"
To which Robin replies,"Fluently."

You must like Dumas as well, there's one exchange that I recall between to characters that leads to a swordfight where one of them comments, "I think you have been wasting my time these last ten minutes!" and the other one takes out his watch and says,"Actually, I have been wasting your time for the past quarter of an hour....."

Getting english books in Germany is such a pain, especially if they´re rather special interest.

Back to the topic - we pretty much hijacked it - I had Blythe yesterday steal my ship, and met it back off Douwesen after I was at QC. Do I have to go through the Caverns or will it do if I capture my ship back (it was friendly, and flying the French flag, but it was certainly the Corvette I captured at Falaise de Fleur and made Nigel captain of)? I HATE this cave fight, for once, the enemies get by now weapons able to kill me in one blow even if I´m blocking - which is more than merelyfrustrating, I´ll have to limit the weapons they can be given- and second, I always get blocked by Danielle, who stands in my way. She´s immortal, which is fine, so she can handle the guys, but eventually, when going back from the wreck, I get pushed back to the exit, leave the cavern automatically and have to start all over again <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/urgh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":urgh" border="0" alt="urgh.gif" />
 
Aye Grimm,ye need te go hrough the caves,leave your officers behind would be better,bump yer melee skills up an be sure te have an adequate sword,cause ye have te fight them coming back throuh de caves as well <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
