NO DVD - Corsairs3 - dead mans chest

You're asking that on an ENGLISH forum? We don't even have the game. Perhaps the Russians have got a crack.
We're not promoting software pirating on this forum, by the way.

i don´t think its piracy....

there is a thread, who shares a no-cd-patch ...

so why are you talking to me <b>"We're not promoting software pirating on this forum, by the way..."</b>

I think in this case I also can ask for "no dvd" for "dead mans chest"....

That no dvd patch was for making the game mod-able. Without it you don't have a program map, so then you wouldn't be able to mod the game.

i think you are 50/50 right - because, you also can play it without CD... and thats the same effect...

I think he means that a cracking group could take the crack from here and put it in with pirated copies of the game on file-sharing networks, so PA would, in theory, indirectly be supporting piracy.

I've never seen anything wrong with cracks, anyways - I just want to be able to play my game without inserting the disc every time. And, like Thomas said, often times it's necessary to crack the copy protection on a game to successfully mod it.

If the crack doesn't appear on here for a week or more after the game's released, then I'm guessing not many sales will be lost to piracy anyways. I saw somewhere that 80% of a game's initial sales come in the first three days on store shelves, and rapidly lessen after this point.

What language is that, and whats it saying? And why does it have three huge d/l files at the end of the page? Is that what I think it is? If so, please edit this post.

<b>Update:</b>Never mind, it was. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> What was it? A copy of the game?

Yeah, I think so. I was looking for pictures of COAS through google and I saw one that looked like the cover art for the Russian version, I clicked on it and got this Georgian website and it had some links to some files for it. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

I thought it was selling it at first, I was gonna post it on here for anyone that wanted to buy the Russian version, obviously it wasin't lol.
