Hello :) Great work you've done with this build mates! I have this problem - I don't know what to do to finish the storyline. Just started it and sailed with Thomas The Terror to Oxbay. Then I began to escort merchants. How to continue with the storyline main quest?
 
Yes, I know, but the last entry says that I should search adventures in oxbay.... Nothing found there though :p
 
Tavern is the place to go for adventures :onya

Look for people who dont look like they are in normal tavern position/dress
 
After Thomas the Terror leaves you. You should go to the tavern.

Ask the Tavernkeeper for work - He should say the only people willing to offer you work are the drunks (there are 1 or 2 depending on if you talked to the Naval Officer on the jetty before going to the tavern ). ;)

Pick a drunk and talk to him ( one is sitting on the floor - other is well dressed & sitting at a table) - each drunk leads to a seperate quest storyline.

If all you are getting is the standard escort a merchant quests from the tavernkeeper then something has not triggered.

Did Thomas give you a compass when he left you?

If you still have problems best thing to do is go back to a save just as or before you arrive at Speightstown (Oxbay ).
 
I made it :) The first drunk(the one on the floor) did't give me any missions.... After that I found the second one and began the Brotherhood quest :)

Now I have another problem - Cutler Becket gave me the mission to resque his officer from Isla Muelle. I found him on the beach and now I have to back to him by sea. The problem is that I can't moore on Pearl Beach. The moore icon just doesn't appear and the place isn't considered as a place to land. What do I do here?
 
The drunk on the floor does give you a mission if you read the dialog... it does make sense ;)

Can anyone else confirm if this is a problem?
 
I loaded an old save and gave becket more money :) Now I have the same landing problem on Antigua. I reported it as a bug... Do you have any idea what may be causing it?
 
First I need to know if it is a common bug, or one you are having randomally... I know something that does cause this to happen but I have only one of them set up in the entire storyline and I dont think you are doing that part :no
 
And what should I do now? Reinstalling the game might help?

And one more question: I want to make mods for PotC. I have pretty good knowledge in PHP if that matters. Where should I start?
 
Another problem - I reinstalled the game, started a new one, this time got the Brin mission instead of the Brotherhood, collected the money for Becket and now I'm on my way to Antigua. I'm with the arcade settings so I landed on the Muscitto Cove, but nothing happened. There were no NPCs. Something simillar happened when I tried to meet Anamaria at the Oxbay Lighthouse - she just wasn't there! I'm desperate already! Please tell me what to do

I have the same problem and i have tried it lots of times but nuthing happened i even re setupted it and i installed the path but still nuthing help pls.
 
i have setuped windows xp and i am going to try build 14 alpha 9 and 9.5 maybe then i can see tia dalma and anamaria
 
It worked thanks for the help i have finished the quest with captain jack sparrow and i have the pearl and its a great mod cant wait til the next part comes
