What about @yo ho ho 's ships he showed on the modeling forum? Like Prince or Resolution from late 17th century?

If someone converts them for PotC, perhaps the Resolution could replace one of the Battleships and the Prince could replace a Manowar model.

I agree! Though perhaps the Fleuron would be the ideal model for a french ship of the line in the quest?

If someone can get the needed files, conversion is not all that difficult.

I'd be quite happy to lose the "Warship" models if something with similar specification but better appearance becomes available. But the "battleship" models don't look too bad. They may not be historically accurate, but then, neither are the xebec or polacca accurate in a Caribbean setting - they operated in the Mediterranean.

The "Resolution" and "Prince" models certainly should be added, though!

On a side note, I thought that, actually, battleship2 may represent a very early great carrack, like Mary Rose. But I don't remember if the game already has anything like that.
