Nice find mate! Unfortunately it had ended by the time I saw it, but it was funded! :onya

It is interesting when you look back at history and see just how much space has inspired composers, long before anyone even had a practical thought of actually going there. One of the most notable classical pieces being Thus Spake Zarathustra by Richard Strauss. Fit quite nicely in 2001, A Space Odyssey, made 70+ years after it was composed.


And of course, Holsts The Plannets



Of course there are many more, but classical music just fits so well with the exploration of space it really doesn't matter if a piece was written specifically with space in mind. The Blue Danube, also by Strauss and another 2001 classic.

 
Yup, John Williams kicks much butt! But he was born long after the first modern rocket tests began. :whipa
