Admin Edit -> this thread was for patch 1.43, Playligic updated to 1.5 with improper notice. Patch 1.5 is NOT compatible with patch 1.43. If you have installed 1.43, you must uninstall first! As always, Playlogic AOP patches re-install Starfart so use at your own RISK.

Installing the Patch
1. Ensure that version 1.41 or 1.42 of Age of Pirates - Caribbean Tales has been installed on your PC successfully.
2. Run the patch executable by double clicking on the file.
3. If requested, restart your PC.
4. Ensure your game disc is in your DVD-ROM drive.
5. Launch the title as normal (by double-clicking on the desktop icon, or select Age of Pirates - Caribbean tales from the Programs menu).

Uninstalling the Patch
Patch 1.43 is removed during a regular uninstallation of the title. </b><!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Off to a rousing start, the game crashed after leaving the very first encounter.
totally stock install with only the 1.43 patch installed.
 
Please consider posting complaints/bugs concerning this patch on the Official Playlogic forum.

Sorry man it wasnt meant to be a complaint so much as a "dont get your hopes up folks"

I modded some stuff and played for 8 hours no problems.

Patch 1.5 is not compatible with patch 1.43 if you have installed 1.43 you must uninstall first.
 
So they just released 1.43 again? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

How can I ensure this when I can;t get patch 1.41 installed. I can't find it ANYWHERE!!!! Could someone assist on this matter? I've already searched this forum and many others. I've googled it to death and this 1.41 can't be found. Some pirate I am eh? Can't even find a patch much less buried treasure.
