While I do agree with this statement, sadly that part of the movie was far from funny, and it only got worse...
Indeed Indiana Jones 4 did not turn out overly well. But at least it wasn't as bad as it could have been.
There wax a script named Saucer Men from Mars which would have been infinitely worse.
Still, I'm looking forward to a part 5 that goes back to proper archaeological mysteries and throws the science fiction elements right out the window again.
That is better left to Star Wars.

That should take care of both the Martian and the person with the nested pictures. According to one Dr. Brandenburg, two civilisations on Mars were wiped out by nuclear explosions, and whoever did it might be coming after us.
